Guidance, Support, and Growth for Aspiring LPC- Associates
So you graduated… now what? 🎓
Graduating with your counseling degree is a huge milestone, but the next steps can feel overwhelming. Many new LPC associates face challenges like:
- Unsure where to start after graduation
- Difficulty finding a site to obtain supervised clinical hours
- Navigating the licensure process
- Starting their own private practice
- Feeling overwhelmed by the emotions of transitioning from student to professional
At Renewed Hope Counseling Center, PLLC, we support the whole person. Our LPC Associate Clinical Supervision offers the tools and guidance you need to grow as a clinician, build confidence, and navigate the next steps of your counseling career — while adjusting to the field with support every step of the way.
Our supervision addresses the most common pain points for new LPC associates:
- Feeling lost or unsure about next steps after graduation
- Difficulty finding a site to complete required hours
- Challenges in starting or growing a private practice
- Managing the stress and uncertainty of early career transitions
To clinical supervisees:
If you’re an LPC-Associate looking for supervision that goes beyond checking a box, I’d love to walk alongside you. As a Board-Approved LPC-Supervisor, I take seriously the responsibility of shaping clinicians who are not only competent, but confident, ethical, and genuinely equipped for the work ahead. My goal in supervision is the same as it is in the therapy room: to meet you where you are, challenge you to grow, and help you build a clinical identity you can stand firmly in.
Whether you’re just starting your associate hours or working toward independent licensure, supervision with me means real conversations about real cases — the wins, the uncertainties, and everything in between. My impact reaches far beyond my own caseload; it’s carried forward by every associate I’ve had the privilege of training, and every client they go on to serve across Texas.
At the heart of everything I do- including mentoring a new clinician into their professional identity — is a genuine belief in the possibility of renewal. Growth is rarely linear, and healing takes time, but I remain steady in my commitment to walking alongside you, every step of the way, with honesty, patience, and hope.
With our guidance, you’ll not only complete your required clinical hours—you’ll gain mentorship, professional growth, and practical skills to succeed as a licensed counselor.
